These two skulls were made on a 3D printer and are from scans of a man with 'a serious brain injury'. My brother-in-law is a dentist and apparently these were in the office of a colleague who basically said they weren't using the skulls for anything and if my sister really liked them she could take them. Of course she was like: well, that's Ali's birthday sorted!
Even if they weren't skulls, the fact they were made on a 3D printer is awesome enough on its own. Those things fascinate me. It's like something out of the future. Now I just need to think of somewhere to put them.
Awesome presents... and congratulations to your birthday, although they are late. ;)
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you. Yeah, I'm so chuffed with them x
DeleteI've always wondered how a 3D printer worked! These are awesome Ali!
ReplyDeleteThanks, miss!
DeleteIt's so lovely!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how would it turn out if you get one of those printers someday and print your own art. :)
By the way, I just nominated you for the Liebster Award back at my blog, link here: http://blog.devannah.com/liebster-award-nomination/
I'd love if you paticipate. Hope you got the time. ♥
