Parceling Orders

Parceling up etsy orders before going to the post office today. I've been blown away by how many orders I've had in just the last couple of days. Thanks to everyone who bought any of my prints, books or accessories. For anyone else who is interested, my etsy shop can be found here.

Bone Brooches For Sale on Etsy

My little felt bone-shaped brooches are now on sale in my online shop! You can have a look at them here. What do you think?

They are approximately 7.5cm in length and each bone brooch is handmade so they might vary in stitching very slightly. The packaging colour is random, but if you have a particular preference for the pink or the purple just let me know!

Everything Reduced In My Store And More On Sale In La La Land

To celebrate my little star brooches now on sale in the La La Land website, I've reduced prices on all the brooches in my etsy store. I have gothic pvc hearts, little jam tarts and giant-sized twee vintage fabric hearts too. Check 'em out here.

Sometimes I wish I could spend all my time making little brooches. It's so relaxing to just sit and sew away. That doesn't seem likely though as it looks like I'm going to be getting a lot of work to do very soon. I don't want to say much until it gets underway properly, but it could be something really awesome. I'll keep you guys posted, but, for now, all I'll say is that it's very different from these little brooches here and involves the other side of what I do. Very exciting!

Facebook Page New Brooches Up On Etsy

First of all, I made a Facebook page for my little brooches and accessories. You can look at it, like it or share it here! I've had a facebook page for the work I do under the title Xenocblood Art for a while now which you can see here and I've found it to be a really great way to promote my own work and discover other people's work as well.

Other than that, I put three new heart brooches up on sale in my etsy shop today: a small pink pvc one and two larger vintage style ones. Follow the links for more info.

Large Pink Pudding Vintage Style Heart Brooch. 

This one is 10.5cm wide x 9.5cm high, has a pink lace trim, pink bow and shows two children eating some pudding with a red cherry on top.

Large Vintage-Style Heart Brooch With Red Flower

Made of lovely blue Kath Kidson fabric with a white lace trim. It has a red flower detail with pearl beads. 

Now On Sale In Lalaland!

My stuff is now on Sale in the amazing Lalaland, both on the website and in the lovely boutique in Creswell Lane, Glasgow. Lalaland not only sells some of the most adorable stuff around, but it also has a lovely atmosphere. It's definitely one of my favourite shops. There is also a facebook page.

They now also stock my book 'Underneath Glasgow', a short horror story about the pigeons and homeless people of Glasgow. I'm currently waiting on a higher quality print sample of it which I will be putting up for sale as a new edition if the print turns out alright!

Star Biscuit Brooches For Sale

These are little star shaped biscuits brooches I made recently. They're now up for sale at my etsy shop. I'm making more at the moment so sell at the magnificent Lalaland store in Glasgow where I used to have my black metal dress up dolls on sale. I'll being doing more posts about that soon, but, for now, I thought I'd give folk a chance to buy these brooches before Lalaland gets them!

All three styles available. They each come in a little bag tied with ribbon. Here are the different types:

New Etsy Shop

For those who don't know, I already have an etsy shop here where I sell black metal style zines, t-shirts and badges. If you like that kind of stuff you can follow me on my other blog (or my tumblr) where I post all my illustration and graphic design work.

The other day, however, I decided to open a second etsy shop since I needed a place to sell all the sweet and cute and not-so-black-metal things I've been making lately. So here it is: The Alison ♥ Lisa ♥ Horn etsy shop of cute things. Hah!
